• WESTMORLAND Michael, aged 66 years, passed away at The Great Western Hospital on December 19, 2010. Michael will be sadly missed by Jane and John and all who knew him. 2009 Laura (Westmoreland) Kane:
• Peacefully, at Cheviot Court, on May 29, aged 90 years, Laura (nee Westmoreland), wife of the late John, much loved mam of Gwen, Annette and John, a loving mother-in-law, gran and great-nanna. Requiem Mass will take place at St Bede's RC Church, Westoe Road, on Friday, June 5, at 10am. Cremation will follow at South Shields Crematorium. Margaret Jane (Westmoreland) Walsh:

• Walsh Margaret passed away peacefully at the Van Geest Unit, Stamford Hospital on 1st July 2009, aged 88 years. Much loved mother of Simon and Kate and loving mother in law of Monica and Pek. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and colleagues. The funeral service will take place on Friday 17th July, 10.00am at St George's Church, Stamford, followed by cremation.  [Rutland & Stamford Mercury]

• Passed away suddenly on April 13th, whilst at Cadwell Park Race Circuit, enjoying the sport that he loved and of Marr, Doncaster, aged 67 years, dearly loved husband of Margaret, dear father of Andrew, Nina and Sean, father-in-law of Donna, Joanne and Roger, also a very dear grandpa, brother and uncle. Dearly loved, he will be sadly missed.
